If you have unwise association you will get deceived. Hence, you have to surround yourself with godly people, you should have a teachable spirit and if you want to have a good life you must associate with people of the same Spirit. I remember in my teens. I had few friends (Boys and Girls) who would only speak filth / drink / smoke. Have over night picnics. However, I did not like the company but being in the same office working for 8-10 hours, I had to talk to them and be with them for some official reason nor the other. But since I was rooted in the word of God, The Lord directed my steps and I would keep myself aloof from them and their actions. They would laugh at me when I would read the bible and not get into their acts. But today, I look back happily and there are no regrets because the LORD has kept me safe and protected me at all times. He has made me shine like a star. So be away from all evil / bad companions and the Lord will reward you.
